Return and Cancellation Policy

At Aureé, customer satisfaction is important to us. However, to maintain product quality, efficient operations, and fairness for all customers, we maintain a clear and strict Return and Cancellation Policy. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled only within 15 minutes of placement.

  • To cancel, contact our support team immediately (within the 15-minute window) via email at [aureejewelry@yahoo.com] or through our website contact form. Include your full order number and reason.
  • After 15 minutes, cancellations are not accepted under any circumstances. This includes change of mind, duplicate orders, incorrect address, or any other reason.
  • Once the 15-minute period expires, the order is automatically routed to our fulfillment system (warehouse, supplier, or production partner). At that point the order is final and non-cancellable.
  • Refused packages may be subject to return shipping fees and may not qualify for refund if they do not meet return eligibility.

We strongly recommend reviewing your cart, shipping address, and order summary before completing checkout.

2. Return Policy

2.1 Eligibility & Timeframe

Returns are accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery (the date the carrier tracking shows “Delivered” or the date you physically receive the package, whichever occurs first).
  • The item qualifies under one of these three categories only:
    • Defective – Manufacturing defect or does not function as described/intended.
    • Incorrect Item – Wrong product, color, size variant, or model was shipped.
    • Damaged in Transit – Item arrived damaged due to shipping (not customer handling).

We do NOT accept returns for any other reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or “no longer needed”
  • Wrong size, fit, or measurements
  • Preference for different style, color, or version
  • Items that have been used, worn, tried on, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer
  • Items returned without original packaging, tags, labels, protective materials, or all accessories
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items (unless defective upon arrival)
  • Personalized, custom, engraved, or made-to-order items
  • Hygiene-sensitive items once removed from original sealed/sterile packaging (e.g., earrings, body jewelry, certain personal care items) — these are final sale for health and safety reasons

2.2 How to Request a Return

  1. Email aureejewelry@yahoo.com within 7 days of delivery with subject: “Return Request – Order # [Your Order Number]”.
  2. Include:
    • Full name and order number
    • Clear photos or short video of the issue (multiple angles recommended)
    • Detailed description of the problem
    • Your preferred resolution (refund or replacement)
  3. Do not ship anything back until you receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions from us. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to you at your expense.

2.3 Return Shipping, Inspection & Resolution

  • Approved returns (defective, incorrect, or damaged): We provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable standard ground shipping costs (receipt required). You must package the item securely in its original condition.
  • The item must arrive back in original, unused, unaltered condition with all original packaging, tags, and components.
  • We inspect all returns within 5–7 business days of receipt.
  • If approved after inspection:
    • Full refund to the original payment method, or
    • Replacement item (subject to availability) at our discretion.
  • Denied returns (does not meet criteria, customer damage, missing parts, or hygiene violation) will be communicated to you. We may offer to return the item to you at your expense or dispose of it (your choice).

2.4 Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after approval + receipt of return (longer for some banks/PayPal). You will receive email confirmation.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent or damaged in our fulfillment).

2.5 Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. For incorrect items, we will either send the correct item or issue a refund so you can reorder.

2.6 Damaged, Defective, or Lost Packages

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery) with photos and tracking number. We will file a carrier claim and provide replacement or refund as appropriate. International customers are responsible for customs duties/taxes on returns.

3. General Terms

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or account history) is required for all requests.
  • Multiple-item orders: Only the qualifying item(s) may be returned.
  • No restocking fees on approved defect/damage/error returns.
  • Policy abuse: We reserve the right to deny returns/cancellations and may restrict or close accounts that show patterns of abuse, excessive returns, or false claims.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws (including implied warranties under U.S. federal and state law).
  • Governing law: This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in Los Angeles County courts unless mandatory consumer laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
  • Policy changes: We may update this policy at any time. The new version will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued purchases after changes = acceptance of the new policy.
